Bhushan Steel & Strips Ltd. is based here in Pune. It’s a city that has grown a lot, and we’ve seen the steel industry change along with it. We don’t have a massive headquarters; we just operate as a practical business focusing on steel and strips. Pune is a good place for this because of all the manufacturing nearby. We spend our days mostly talking to suppliers and making sure our clients get what they need. It’s a lot of logistical work and keeping track of inventory. The weather here is usually better than in Mumbai or Delhi, which makes the work a bit more pleasant. We have a small team, and everyone knows what they need to do. We don't go in for fancy talk or big promises. We just handle the steel requirements as they come in. Sometimes things get backed up, or there are delays in the supply chain, but that’s just the nature of the industry. We’ve built up some good relationships with people in the area over the years. It’s an honest living, and we take it one day at a time. The city traffic can be a mess during peak hours, so we try to plan our movements around that.
