Xtream Infosystems

Our small office for Xtream Infosystems is located at G-504 in the Saptrang Akash building over in Bhekrai Nagar, Phursungi. It’s a quiet residential area for the most part, which suits us fine because it helps us concentrate on the technical stuff we do. We mostly deal with computer systems and networking for people who live and work around here. It started out as a small project in a spare room and eventually grew into this space. There are cables and spare parts scattered on the desks because we are usually in the middle of fixing something or setting up a new server. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, so most people just look for the building name. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up, but we don't mind the exercise. We spend a lot of time on the phone explaining how things work or going out to visit clients at their own places. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s interesting because every day brings a different problem to solve. We like being in Phursungi because it feels more like a community than the busier parts of the city. We know the local shops and the people who live nearby. If you need help with your computer or your office network, we are usually around to help without making things too complicated. The building itself is quite tall, and being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding rooftops in Phursungi. We keep some basic tools and testers in our bags at all times because you never know when someone will call with an emergency. It’s a practical way to run things when you are a small team trying to cover a lot of ground.
