Bhawani Steel & Varities

We are located in the Hadapsar area at the third block. Our shop is mostly filled with different kinds of steel rods, sheets, and other bits and pieces that people need for building things. It is a heavy job, so we spend a lot of time moving things around by hand or with a small trolley. The floor is concrete and has a lot of marks from where the steel has been dragged over the years. We keep the varieties organized as best as we can, though sometimes things get a bit jumbled when we get a big shipment in. It is quite dusty around here, mostly because of the traffic in Hadapsar and the nature of the metal we handle. We have a small desk near the entrance where we sit and wait for customers. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that move the air around. Most of our day is spent measuring things out or helping someone load a truck. We’ve been at this spot for a while and we know the other shop owners on the street. It isn’t a fancy lifestyle, but we like the work and the people we meet. We just try to keep enough stock so that nobody leaves empty-handed. It is just a straightforward steel shop run by regular people who know their trade well and don't make things complicated.
