Bhawani Mobile

Bhawani Mobile is a small shop that we run on the Ghorpadi New Link Road. It’s a simple place where we focus on mobile phones and all the things that go with them. We spend our days doing a lot of different tasks, from selling new handsets to fixing ones that have been broken or stopped working. The shop is quite cozy, which is a nice way of saying it’s a bit cramped, but it has everything we need. We don't have any fancy marketing or big slogans to show off. We just talk to our customers like they’re regular people, because they are. Most of the folks who come in are from the Ghorpadi area and they know us by name. We do a lot of screen repairs, battery replacements, and software updates right there at the counter. Sometimes we have to tell people that their phone is too old to be fixed, and we try to be as direct as possible about it. We also sell a variety of cases, headphones, and chargers for all the popular models. The New Link Road is usually pretty busy with traffic, so there’s always something going on outside. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen the shop grow little by little. It’s just us working here, trying to make a living and helping our neighbors stay connected. There’s no big corporate office, just our little shop on the road.
