Bharat Super Market

We are located in the Sai Darshan Building in the Parvati area of Pune. Bharat Super Market is what we call it, though it’s just a decent sized shop really. Being near Shivswarajya Pratisthan helps people find us. We’ve got rows of pulses, grains, and all the household bottles people ask for. The building itself is old but we’ve made our space work. It’s usually me or my brother at the counter. We start early to get the fresh bread and milk sorted before the morning rush. The traffic around Parvati can be a mess sometimes, especially on holidays. We try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to customers. Some days are slow and we just reorganize the biscuits or something. We don't use any fancy software, just a basic register. If you live around here, you probably know the spot. We’ve had some leaks in the ceiling during the monsoon but we fixed them last year. It’s just a local business trying to stay steady. We don't do home delivery much unless it's an old neighbor who can't walk over. It's just how we've always done it here in Pune. Nothing flashy about it. We just open up and wait for the regulars to come in with their lists. It's a simple life for us. We've been here at 234 for years and don't plan on moving.
