Bharat Pan Shop

You can find Bharat Pan Shop over in Nana Peth. The exact address is R K Vijaya Road 1044. It is a busy street with lots of shops lined up one after another. I have been working at 1044 for quite a while now. The mornings are usually spent cleaning the glass cases and making sure everything is where it should be. Nana Peth is a place that never really sleeps, or at least it feels that way. There is always someone moving something or a bike honking. R K Vijaya Road is a main stretch so we get people from all over the city passing by. The shop is quite small, just a little nook really. I like the routine of it. I open the shutters at the same time every morning. Some of the neighbors have been here as long as I have. We nod to each other while we set up our stalls. Bharat Pan Shop is just a name on a board, but to me, it is where I spend most of my life. It gets hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the shop. I usually have a small fan going but it does not do much against the heat. By the time evening rolls around, the street gets even more crowded. It is just the way Nana Peth is. We stay here at 1044 until late at night when the traffic finally thins out. Then I lock up and head home.
