Bhansali Metal Corporation is over at 5 / B in the Parvati Industrial Estate on Satara Road. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and warehouses, so there is always a lot of activity around us. We have a decent-sized space where we keep our metal supplies. Most mornings start with moving things around to make room for the day’s work. We aren’t doing anything revolutionary here; we just supply metal to people who need it. It involves a lot of lifting, measuring, and cutting. Sometimes the saw blades go dull faster than we expect, and we have to stop everything to change them out. We have a small office corner with a fan that makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the heat off while we do the billing. Our customers are mostly regulars from the nearby areas who know they can just drop in. We don’t have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. If you want to know what we have, you usually just ask or look at the racks. The guys working here have been around a long time and they don’t say much, they just get on with the loading. It’s a plain, functional environment where we focus on the physical stuff rather than the talk. It gets dusty, but that’s just part of dealing with metal all day long in the estate.
