We have been at Gate No. 1536 for quite a while now. It is right near High Take and Sonawane Vasti. Chikhali is a busy area with lots of noise and dust coming from the nearby workshops. Our day usually starts pretty early. The first thing we do is check on all the machines. Sometimes they act up, especially when the weather gets humid, but we just handle what comes our way. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. It is a real workplace with grease on the floor and metal bits everywhere. People around here know us by the sound of our shutters opening in the morning. We deal with various industrial tasks all day. It isn’t always easy, and some days are much longer than others when a big order comes in. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know the equipment well. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall on the corner while waiting for a delivery truck to show up at the gate. The location is convenient for logistics because we are close to the main road. We keep things simple here. If there is a problem, we just fix it. We do not spend much time on paperwork if we can help it. It is mostly about getting the hands-on work done right. The neighborhood has changed over the years with more buildings popping up around Sonawane Vasti, but we stay focused on our daily operations. (251 words)
