Running Bhagwati Super Market across these areas like Chikhlee Siddharth Nagar and Karve Nagar Hingne Budrukh keeps us on our toes. It’s a lot of back and forth between the spots to make sure the stock is okay. Each neighborhood is a bit different. Some places people want more loose grains and others prefer the packed bags. We mostly sell the usual stuff like dal, oil, and cleaning supplies. My brother handles one side and I stay at the other mostly. The shop at Karve Nagar gets a lot of students because of the hostels nearby. They always want instant noodles and late-night snacks. Sometimes the delivery guys mix up the crates for the two locations, and we have to sort it out ourselves in the evening. It’s not a big corporate operation, just us trying to keep the shelves full. The paint on the sign is starting to peel a little because of the sun, but everyone knows it's us. We try to keep the vegetables fresh, but sometimes by evening, the spinach looks a bit tired. We just mark it down and move on. It is honest work. Dealing with the wholesalers takes up most of my Tuesday mornings. We don't use fancy bags, just whatever is sturdy enough for a kilo of sugar.
