We are located at Shop No 1 in the Shankheshvar Building over here in Bhawani Peth. This part of the city, specifically around Palakhi Vithoba Chowk, stays pretty busy most of the day. You might know the area near Journalist Colony. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we handle steel stuff. We’ve been at 1205 for a good while now. Most days are just spent moving metal around and talking to people who walk in needing something specific for their construction or repair jobs. The traffic outside can get a bit much, especially during the peak hours, but that is just how Bhawani Peth is. We don’t have any big corporate offices or anything like that. It is just us here, making sure the orders are ready and the steel is what it’s supposed to be. Some of the guys have been working in this neighborhood for years, so they know their way around the local shops and where to get a good cup of tea nearby. We deal with all sorts of people, from local builders to individuals just fixing up a small thing at home. The Shankheshvar Building is easy to find if you are coming from the main chowk. We just focus on getting the work done and keeping the shop running day after day. It’s hard work, but it’s what we have been doing for years in this little corner of Pune.
