Bansal General Stores

Bansal General Stores is located at 53-54 in the New Bazar area of Khadki. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite a while now. The shop is basically two units joined together, which gives us a bit more room than some of the other places around here. New Bazar is a lively spot, and there’s always something going on outside. We stock a wide variety of general items that people in Khadki need for their homes. The shelves are usually packed high, and sometimes it’s hard to reach the top ones without a stool. It’s a family-run thing, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here. The morning starts with unloading crates and making sure the front is tidy. It can get a bit hectic when the school kids or office workers stop by all at once. We don't have any fancy displays. It's just a practical store for practical people. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. We know their kids and their parents. It feels like a small community inside New Bazar. We just keep things moving, selling what’s in demand and trying to stay organized in our own way. It’s a simple life at the shop.
