Balaji Steel Traders

Balaji Steel Traders is right out on the Pune Solapur Highway. We are located in Patas, which is a bit of a drive but it’s a good location for a steel yard. We are very close to the Patas Toll Plaza, so you can’t really miss us if you are traveling that way. Being near the highway means we get a lot of noise from the trucks and cars zooming by, but it’s great for getting steel moved in and out quickly. The yard is usually full of different types of steel and we spend a lot of time outside in the heat. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. We don't have a fancy office building, just a small space where we keep the books and take calls. Most of our day is spent checking loads and making sure the trucks are loaded right. Patas is a quiet town otherwise, but the highway brings a lot of life to this spot. We’ve been here long enough that most of the drivers know where to pull in. We don't use any high-tech systems or anything like that. We just use our hands and the machinery we have to get things sorted. It’s a dusty place and your boots will get dirty, but that’s part of the trade. We just keep our heads down and get the work done day after day.
