Balaji Bhel Center

We are Balaji Bhel Center, and you can find us in the 2nd Lane of Mangaldas Market in Baner Gaon. This market is always crowded, and our little stall is right in the middle of all the action. We’ve been here for years, serving bhel to the people who come to shop. It’s a very small space, mostly just a counter and some room for us to mix the ingredients. There isn't really a place to sit, so most people just stand around the lane and eat. We start our day by prepping all the chutneys and chopping the onions and coriander. It’s a lot of prep work before we even open. The market gets very noisy with all the vendors shouting, and we are just a part of that noise. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. People just know where we are. We see the same faces every week when they come for their grocery shopping. It’s a simple life, mixing snacks for people. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's a particularly busy day in Mangaldas Market. We don't use any fancy apps or social media to tell people we are open. They just walk by and see us. It’s a humble little spot in the 2nd Lane, and we’re happy to be here. We keep our ingredients fresh and our hands moving all day long.
