Badami Mobile Shopee

Badami Mobile Shopee is located on the 9th Cross in Vadgaon Budruk, over in the Ejipura area. It is a small corner of the world, but we stay busy with all the mobile phone issues people have. Most days are spent sitting behind the glass counter looking at tiny screws and circuit boards. We do a lot of screen replacements because people are always dropping their phones on the pavement outside. It is a common problem. We also sell sim cards and help people set up their data plans when they get confused by the settings. The shop is at number 6, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have more than two people inside at once. We’ve got cables hanging from the walls and a bunch of old phone cases that we probably should have cleared out months ago. It isn't a high-end boutique. It’s a place where you come to get your phone fixed or buy a cheap charger that works. We know most of the people who live on this cross and the next one. Sometimes the internet goes down and we can't do the digital recharges, which makes everyone a bit grumpy, but we just wait for it to come back. It’s a honest way to earn a living in a neighborhood we like.
