Babji Sales Corporation

We operate Babji Sales Corporation out of Akbar Plaza, which is at 1044-1 Raviwar Peth. If you know Pune, you know that Raviwar Peth is one of the busiest market areas you can find. It’s a maze of narrow streets and shops selling everything under the sun. Our place in the plaza is mostly about moving goods. We have boxes stacked up high, and there’s always a delivery truck or a rickshaw waiting outside to load something up. The noise from the market is constant—people shouting, horns honking, and the general clatter of trade. Inside, it’s a bit more organized, but still very much a working warehouse and office space. We spend our days tracking orders, checking inventory, and talking to suppliers. The floor is concrete and can get a bit dusty with all the cardboard moving around. We don’t have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a practical space where the real work happens. Sometimes it’s a struggle to find a place to park anywhere near the building, but that’s just the reality of being in this part of town. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know most of the other shop owners in the plaza. It’s a tough, fast-paced environment, but we’ve got our system down and we keep the business running as best as we can every single day. We just drink our chai and keep the paperwork moving as the sun goes down over Raviwar Peth.
