Baba Electronics

People usually find us here in Aundh at Niyoshi Park 3 when something stops working at home. It’s a small shop, maybe a bit cluttered with wires and remotes, but that’s how it is. I started Baba Electronics because I like fixing things and seeing how they work inside. Most days it’s just me and a few guys handling whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s a TV that won't turn on or a microwave making weird noises. We don't have fancy displays or anything. It's just a counter and lots of spare parts in boxes. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we opened, but we’re still right here in the same spot. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work and realizes their remote batteries are dead or they need a new cable. We try to keep things simple. If we can fix it, we tell you. If it's trash, we say that too. There’s no point in lying about a machine. A lot of folks from the nearby buildings just drop by to ask questions about their gadgets. I don't mind. It's part of being in the community. Sometimes the shop is a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but the tea is always hot. We’ve been at this for a long time now. Just a regular local shop doing regular work for people around here. It's not glamorous, but it's ours.
