This shop on Phursungi Saki Vihar Road 44 is where we spend all our time. It is a small place, mostly filled with phone covers, cables, and boxes of screen guards. We spend the day sitting behind the glass counter, fixing broken displays or helping people figure out why their phone is running so slow. The traffic on Saki Vihar Road is always loud, so we have to speak up when talking to customers. It is not a very tidy place, as we have wires hanging everywhere and tools scattered on the workbench. Sometimes the internet goes down and everyone comes in complaining about their recharge not working correctly. We just try to get through the day one customer at a time. We don't have any fancy uniforms or anything like that. I usually wear whatever is comfortable since I am leaning over small electronics all day long. People from the nearby offices often drop their phones off in the morning and pick them up on their way home. We see a lot of cracked screens and water damage from people dropping things in the sink. It is a lot of squinting at tiny screws and trying not to lose them on the floor. We have a small TV in the corner that we keep on for the news. Phursungi is a busy area and we are just another small shop trying to make a living. If a phone is dead, we just tell the owner the truth about it.
