You’ll find our shop on Kelkar Road in Shaniwar Peth, which is a very traditional part of the city. We are in the F Wing of the D.S.K. Chintamani Apartment, specifically Shop No. 2. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but we are right beside the Numavi Children School. During the day, you can hear the kids shouting and playing during their breaks, which gives the whole area a lot of energy. Shaniwar Peth has these narrow streets that are always packed with people and two-wheelers. Our shop is small and smells like herbs and old paper. It’s tucked away at the bottom of the apartment block, so it stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly which turn to take past the school to reach us. It’s not a modern place with glass walls; it feels more like an old-school office. We spend a lot of time talking to the people who walk in, often about their families or the neighborhood news. Being near a school means we also get parents dropping in while they wait to pick up their kids. It’s a very local, community-focused spot. We just try to keep things orderly and help out whoever comes through the door looking for us in Shaniwar Peth.
