Axis Software

Axis Software operates out of Flat 501 in the Ashlesha Building. We are located in Ganesh Nagar, which is part of the Dhayari area in Pune. It’s a residential building, so it’s fairly quiet, which helps us focus on our coding. V N Savant is the main person here. We have a few rooms filled with computers and extra monitors. It’s not the kind of place with a ping-pong table or a cafeteria. We just have a small kitchen where we make our own tea and coffee. The balcony gives us a bit of fresh air when we’ve been staring at the screens for too long. We do software development and maintenance work. Most of our days are spent typing away and trying to figure out why things aren't working right. We don't have a marketing department, so we don't spend time on fancy brochures. We just talk to our clients directly. The fifth floor is high enough to get a bit of a breeze. Sometimes the building's elevator is out of service, so we have to walk up, which isn't great in the summer. We are just a small team trying to write good code and keep our projects on track. It’s a very simple, grounded way to run a software business in a big city like Pune. We’ve been here for a while and the location works well for us.
