Our office is an old bungalow, so it has a lot of character that you don't find in modern office blocks. There are separate rooms for different teams, and it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We’ve been here for a long time. The lane is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a challenge, but we manage. Inside, the bungalow is filled with the sound of keyboards clicking and servers humming in the corner. We do all sorts of software work here. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy policies. We just work together as a small group. There’s a small porch where we sometimes take our breaks and talk about things other than work. The wooden floors creak a bit when you walk on them, and we have bookshelves full of old technical manuals. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Our work usually speaks for itself, and we just keep our heads down and get through the tasks. It’s a very practical and honest environment for us to get things done.
