Autosoft

Our place, Autosoft, is located in Deccan Gymkhana on the 5th Main. We are specifically in the Annapurneshwari Nagar area. It’s a bit of a specialized shop. While other places are busy changing oil and tires, we are usually sitting with laptops plugged into car dashboards. Most people don't realize how much software goes into a vehicle these days. Everything from the fuel injection to the air conditioning is controlled by a computer module. We deal with all that digital stuff. It’s quieter work than a regular garage, but it can be just as frustrating when a bit of code won't cooperate. The neighborhood is fairly nice and we’ve been part of the community for some time. We don't really do any of the greasy mechanical work. We leave the heavy lifting to the other guys nearby. Our focus is strictly on the electronics and the computer systems. The shop is kept pretty tidy compared to a traditional workshop because we don't have oil dripping everywhere. It’s a small team here, and we mostly just get on with our work. We don't have a big marketing plan. Most people find us because they have a weird electronic glitch that no one else can figure out. We just take our time and try to get the software side of things running smoothly again for our neighbors here in Pune.
