We set up shop in Hadapsar over at the Simplicity complex on Handewadi Road. Being in unit E2-204 means we are part of a residential-style area which actually makes the work feel a bit more relaxed. We do creative work here so there are usually sketches and notebooks lying around on every flat surface. It’s not a big open-plan office like you see on TV but a smaller space where we can actually think. We have lived and worked in this part of town for a while and we like being away from the main city chaos. Most days involve a lot of coffee and sitting at the computers trying to get designs just right. We don't have a receptionist or a big sign outside. It is just us working through projects and taking calls when they come in. Sometimes the neighbors are loud or there is construction on the road outside but we just keep going. We handle things as they come and try to stay organized even though the desk gets cluttered with printouts and color swatches. It’s a practical way to run a business and it suits how we like to work. We spend a lot of time discussing ideas and figuring out the best way to make something look good for a client. The walls are a bit bare and the chairs don't always match but the work gets done well.
