Atul Karmarkar

Atul Karmarkar is situated right in the Bibwewadi Church Compound, specifically at Veerannapalya 237 2 B. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't local to the area. The compound has its own pace of life, which is usually a bit calmer than the main roads nearby. We’ve set up our workspace here to be close to the community. It’s not a corporate building by any stretch of the imagination. It’s more of a lived-in space where we get our daily tasks handled. The address might sound a little complicated when you read it out loud, but once you’re here, it makes sense. We have a small corner where we keep our files and another where we sit and drink tea when the rain starts. It’s the kind of place where the neighbors know your name and you know theirs. We don’t have fancy signs or flashy lights. Mostly, people find us because they’ve heard about where we are from someone else. The room stays relatively cool because of the way the building is tucked away. We spend a lot of time just working through the lists we make every morning. There’s a certain routine to it that we’ve grown to appreciate over the years. We like the honesty of the work we do here. It’s quiet, it’s steady, and it keeps us busy from Monday through Saturday without much fuss.
