Atharv Computer Services H O is tucked away in A 202 of Narayan Chamber. We are right there at 555 Narayan Peth. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here during the day. Our space isn't huge, but it fits all the gear we need to work on the computers people drop off. Most days it's just the sound of fans whirring and someone tapping on a keyboard. We’ve been in Narayan Peth for quite some time now, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The office has a few chairs for people waiting, but mostly it’s just workbenches piled with hardware. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free at the moment. It’s a simple operation. Sometimes we are swamped with laptops, and other times it’s a bit slower, which gives us time to clear the backlog. We try to keep things honest about what can be fixed and what is probably just junk at this point. No sense in wasting someone's money on a lost cause. People usually find us because they live nearby or work in one of the other offices in the building. It’s a practical place for practical problems. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get people back to their work as fast as we can manage. We enjoy being part of the local scene here and seeing the same faces come by for help.
