Aswad Hotel

Aswad Hotel has been sitting here at Aundh A/6 for quite some time now. Aundh has changed so much since we first started, with all the new glass buildings and expensive shops popping up everywhere around us. But our little spot at A/6 stays pretty much the same as it always was. We have the same old door that sometimes squeaks when you push it open. Inside, the lights aren't the brightest, but they get the job done. We don't have fancy menus or waiters in uniforms. It is just a place where you can sit down and have a meal without thinking too much about it. We see a lot of people who work in the nearby offices coming in for their lunch break. They usually look a bit tired, so we just let them eat in peace. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit smoky when we are busy, but we just open the back window to clear it out. We spend a lot of our time in the back, prepping things and washing up. It is hard work and our backs ache by the end of the day, but that is just how it is. We are just a local hotel trying to keep things moving along. There is nothing complicated about what we do here. We just hope the food is hot and the seats are empty when someone new walks in.
