Asmita Telesystems

Our office for Asmita Telesystems is at 1204, Sadashiv Peth, right off Tilak Road in the Venkatesh Apartments. If you know Pune, you know Sadashiv Peth is always crowded and the lanes are narrow. Parking is a nightmare, so most of us come by bike. Our office is inside the apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is always on. We handle a lot of telesystems work, which basically means a lot of phone calls and technical troubleshooting. It’s not a fancy glass building; it’s just a regular place with desks and some old chairs. We’ve been here long enough that we know the sounds of the neighborhood, like the school bell nearby and the traffic on Tilak Road. The walls have a few marks from when we moved the big cabinets in. We don’t really care about the decor much. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three people are talking on the phone at once in such a small space. But we make it work. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even when we’re stressed about a deadline. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and then head home through the busy Peth streets at the end of the day. There's always something to fix or a new line to install. It keeps us on our toes and the days go by fast enough.
