It is a busy spot because of all the trucks and cars passing by on the highway. We have been working with milk for quite some time now. The cows need attention every day, so there isn't really a day off for us. We also do a bit of agrotourism because people from the city like to see where their food comes from. It is a simple setup on the land we have here. We spend our mornings milking and our afternoons managing the farm grounds. We have some sheds for the animals and a small area for guests to sit. Working in Patas is different from the city life in Pune. It’s louder because of the road but quieter in the fields. We don't use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned hard work and looking after the livestock. Sometimes the milk delivery trucks are late, or the weather gets too hot, but we keep going. It’s just the way life is out here on the highway.
