Ashoka Times

Ashoka Times is located in the Ashwini Complex on Peddar Road in Landewadi. It’s a part of Bhosari that sees a lot of foot traffic. We’ve been in this complex for a while now. The shop is small and filled with the sound of ticking. We don't have fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a place where we work on watches and clocks every day. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for the time or to get a small battery replaced. We like being in Bhosari because it’s a working-class area where people appreciate things being fixed rather than thrown away. The Ashwini Complex has a few different shops, so it’s usually busy. We keep our tools on the bench and our parts in little drawers. It gets a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We don't really have a website or do much online. Mostly, people find us because they live nearby or their parents used to come here. It’s a quiet way to earn a living. We open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. There’s always a cup of tea on the counter. We don't make a big deal out of what we do. It’s just a regular shop on Peddar Road. We try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door.
