Ashok Watch House

Ashok Watch House is on the first floor, right near the HP Petrol Pump at Neelkanth Society. The full address is 19/20 1St Floor, Hanuman Nagar Karve Road. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, but they still find us. We can see the petrol pump from our window. Karve Road is always moving. We have been here for years, surrounded by all these watches. Some are on the walls, some in the glass cases. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once. 19/20 1St Floor is our little corner of Hanuman Nagar. We do repairs mostly, sitting at the bench with our magnifying glasses. It's tedious work but someone has to do it. The society is a decent place to be. We have some regulars who come in just to see what’s new. We don't have any fancy music playing or bright lights. Just the hum of the street and the ticking of the clocks. It's a family thing, really. My uncle used to sit in this same chair. We keep things pretty basic. No big promises, just a place to get your watch looked at. If you’re at the petrol pump, just look up and you’ll see our sign. We're usually there from morning till late. The stairs are concrete and a bit steep. We have a small wooden sign near the door.
