Ashok Super Shop

In the Dhanori Versova 281 area, you can find Ashok Super Shop. It is a small place, really. We do not have those big shopping carts you see in malls, just small plastic baskets for people to carry. We focus on the things families need every day. Milk, bread, eggs, and the local grains are our main items. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors who come in to shop. It is more than just a business; it is where we spend our whole day. Sometimes the fridge makes a bit of a loud noise, but it keeps the drinks cold, so we do not mind. We try to keep things clean, but with people coming in and out all day with muddy shoes, it is a constant job to sweep up. We are not trying to be the biggest store in Dhanori. We just want to be the one that is convenient for the people living in the nearby apartments. It is a family-run thing. My wife helps with the accounts in the evening after the kids are in bed. We do not have any fancy signs or expensive advertisements. People just know we are here by word of mouth. Sometimes we run out of a certain item, and we have to wait for the next delivery truck to crawl through the city traffic. That is just life in this part of town. We keep it simple and just do our job every day.
