Ashiyana Hotel is located at 1198 in Shivaji Nagar, right on the main stretch of Fergusson College Road. If you know the 411004 area, you know how packed it gets with students and shoppers every single day. We’ve been here witnessing the changes on F C Road for quite some time. The building has its own character, maybe a bit old-fashioned compared to some of the newer places, but it holds up well. We don’t have a big corporate office telling us what to do; we just run the place ourselves. Mornings start early with cleaning the entryway and checking the registers. It can get pretty loud outside with all the bikes and buses, but that’s the energy of this neighborhood. We don't promise anything crazy or fancy. It’s just a set of rooms where people can sleep for a night or two. Sometimes we run out of certain items in the morning, or the Wi-Fi acts up when it rains, but we just deal with it as it comes. We like being in the middle of all the action. You can walk out the door and find almost anything you need within five minutes. It’s a grounded kind of life, working in a hotel. We aren't trying to be the most modern spot on the block, just a reliable one that people can recognize when they walk past.
