At Ashish Computer Services, we are tucked away in Narayan Peth at number 355. It’s a small office where we spend most of the day surrounded by opened-up computers and tangled wires. People bring us their laptops or desktop towers when they stop working or start making weird noises. We've got benches set up with all sorts of tools and spare parts scattered around. Narayan Peth is a busy area, so there's always a lot of noise from the street coming through the windows. We do our best to figure out what's wrong with the machines, whether it’s a virus or something hardware-related like a burnt-out power supply. Sometimes we can fix things quickly, and other times we have to wait for a part to arrive, which can be a bit frustrating for the customers. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. The space at 355 is a bit cramped because we keep a lot of old monitors and cables just in case someone needs a rare connector. It’s not the cleanest looking place because of all the dust that accumulates inside electronics, but we get the job done. We just tell people to leave their machines with us and we’ll call them when it’s ready to be picked up.
