Arya Distributors

Arya Distributors is out on Katraj Harni Road. It’s a busy stretch of road with lots of trucks. We spend most of our day moving boxes. It’s not very exciting work, but it needs to be done. The warehouse is big and drafty. In the winter it gets cold, and in the summer it’s like an oven. We have a small office in the corner where we keep all the papers. Files are everywhere. We try to keep track of everything coming in and going out of Katraj Harni Road. Sometimes things get misplaced for a day or two. We eventually find them under a pallet. It’s just me and a couple of guys working the floor. We don’t have fancy forklifts, just manual jacks. Our backs hurt by the end of the week. The name Arya Distributors is on a small board by the gate. Most people miss it the first time. We get deliveries early in the morning, often before the sun is up. The tea stall down the road is where we go for breaks. They know us well. We don't do much marketing. Most of our clients have been with us for years. They know where we are. Dealing with the traffic on Harni Road is the hardest part of the job. It’s always backed up near the junction. We just keep moving the stock and hope for a smooth day.
