Ark Noise Control Engineering Center

You can find us at Namastestu on Bhaktimarg, right off Law College Road in Erandawane. It’s a nice enough part of town, though finding Plot No. 73/3/3 can be a little tricky for newcomers. We spend a lot of time thinking about noise and how to stop it. It’s funny because our own office can get quite loud when everyone is talking at once. We’ve got various maps and charts pinned to the walls. Some of them are peeling at the edges. We don’t really mind. The focus is always on the engineering side of things. It’s a lot of calculations and measuring stuff. We’ve been in this Erandawane spot for a good bit now. The trees outside give some shade, which is nice in the summer. We aren't the type to wear suits and ties every day. Most of us prefer comfortable clothes since we’re often out on sites or moving heavy equipment around. It’s honest work. Sometimes the printer jams when we’re trying to get a report out, and we all take turns trying to fix it. We know the local tea stall owner by name. It’s a quiet life mostly, except for the work we do. We just want to get the projects finished properly so everyone is happy. We aren't interested in being flashy or anything. Just engineers doing what they know best. Anyway, we stay pretty busy throughout the year. It is a good place to be.
