Arihant Steel Metals Wires is based in Pune, over in the Chandannagar area. We are inside the Shri Krishna Housing Society, which might seem like a quiet spot, but there’s a lot of heavy lifting going on here. Dealing with steel and wires means the place is always a bit metallic and dusty. We have rolls of wire and different types of metal pieces that we manage. It’s a Pvt Ltd company, but it feels more like a small family setup when you’re actually here on the ground. The Pune -14 area is quite busy, and we have trucks coming in to drop off or pick up materials quite often. It can get a bit loud when the metal is being moved around, but that’s just the nature of the business. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. Most of our space is taken up by the materials themselves. We spend our days checking gauges, weighing things, and making sure the orders are correct. The guys working here have been around for a while, so we have a good rhythm going. It’s hard work, and your hands usually end up a bit dirty by the end of the shift. Chandannagar is a good place for this kind of work because it’s well-connected, even if the traffic near the society can be a bit slow. We just focus on getting the steel out to whoever needs it.
