Our shop is out in the Bhosari Industrial Estate. It’s right on the way toward the International Airport Road. It's a noisy area with all the trucks and factories around. We deal with all kinds of electrical parts. Switches, wires, heavy-duty stuff for the units nearby. My brother and I run the place. We opened up here because this is where the work is. Most of our days are spent checking inventory or helping some technician find a specific part they need for a machine that broke down. It gets dusty inside because of the road construction and the traffic. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's mostly shelves stacked high with boxes. If someone calls and asks for something, we usually have to climb a ladder to find it. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the airport traffic. That can be annoying. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the morning shipments. It’s not an easy job, standing on your feet on the concrete floor all day. But we know the stuff we sell. We’ve learned a lot just by talking to the electricians who come in. They tell us what works and what doesn't. We just try to keep the right things in stock so people don't have to drive all over the city. It’s a basic business. We’re here from nine until the evening. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
