Aquarius House is where we spend most of our time. It’s located in Sheelavihar Colony, which is just off Karve Road here in Pune. Most people just call us AEPL for short. The pincode is 411038, though people often just write Pune-38 on the mail. Karve Road is always buzzing with students and traffic, but once you turn into Sheelavihar Colony, it gets a little bit quieter. Aquarius Engineers Pvt.Ltd has its own space here. It’s a solid building that feels like it’s been around for a bit. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through engineering problems and managing different sites. We have our own way of doing things, usually with a lot of paper and a lot of discussion. We don’t really care for the modern office layouts where everyone is on top of each other. We have our corners and our desks where we can focus. Maharashtra gets pretty warm, but the trees in the colony help keep things a bit cooler around the building. Sometimes we take a break and walk down to the main road for a coffee. It’s a good location for an engineering firm because it’s central but still has that neighborhood feel. We’ve been in this spot long enough that the postman doesn't even need to look at the full address anymore. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup for our daily work and we stay pretty busy with it all.
