Apna General Store

We are located at Shop No 02 in Anusaya Tower, which is on Mominpura Road in the Ghorpade Peth-Swargate area of Pune. Our shop is quite close to the Ghorpade Police Chowky, so people find us easily. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of people moving around all day. We have been running this general store for several years now. It isn't a huge place, so we have to be very careful with how we use the space. We have things stacked all the way to the ceiling sometimes. It is just a regular shop where people come to get their daily supplies. We don't have any promotional banners or polished marketing stuff. It’s just us and our customers. The traffic outside can be very loud, especially with the buses and bikes on Mominpura Road, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. We take turns working the counter and making sure the shelves are filled. It is a simple business, really. We don’t use any complicated systems. If someone asks for something we don't have, we try to get it for them the next time. We see a lot of people from the nearby offices as well as the families who live in the towers around us. It is a good mix of faces. We just do our work, keep the place as tidy as we can, and go home when the day is done.
