You can find Anushka Foods at number 47 in Shankar Nagar. We are right in the middle of the neighborhood, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a factory or a warehouse. We handle a lot of food stuff here, mostly prepping and getting things ready for people to buy. It is a small team, just a handful of us who mostly live nearby. The kitchen is the heart of the whole place. There is always something being chopped, boiled, or packaged up. We do not have those massive automated machines you see on TV; we do a lot of things by hand because that is just how we started out. Shankar Nagar is a nice place to be, and we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time parking on the narrow street, but we manage to get it done. The shelves are usually packed with containers and different labels. It is not always perfectly organized, but we know exactly where the spices are and where the bags are kept. We do not go in for big advertisements or anything fancy. People around here just know we are here at number 47. We focus on making things that we would be happy to eat ourselves at home. It is a lot of hours and a lot of cleaning up at the end of every day. But it is our business and we are glad to be here.
