Ankur Hospital

Our hospital is located over in Shivraj Colony at Degaon Phata. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the center of town, which is nice for the patients who need rest. We’ve been operating here for several years now and the building is simple, it doesn't have a lot of extra frills or fancy glass. We focus on basic medical care for the people living in the colony and the surrounding areas. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else after a while. We have a small ward for people who need to stay under observation for a day or two. The staff here is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from checking people in to helping out in the rooms. We don't have any polished corporate mission statements or anything like that. We just try to be there when someone in the neighborhood feels sick or gets hurt unexpectedly. Degaon Phata is a growing area, so we see more new faces lately, but the core of what we do remains the same. The waiting room has enough chairs for the busy mornings, and we try to keep the atmosphere calm despite the stress people are under. It’s just a local hospital doing its part for the community. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We’re just a group of people working together to look after our neighbors when they need medical help. It's not a flashy life, but it works for us.
