Ankita Super Market

Ankita Super Market is located on PVR Road in Alandi Devachi. It’s a busy spot because of the road, so we see a lot of people passing through. We’ve got a bit of everything, from snacks to household cleaners. The shelves are packed pretty tight, and sometimes things fall off if you’re not careful. I spend a lot of time re-arranging the biscuit packets because they always get messed up. We have a refrigerator for cold drinks and milk, which is a big help when it gets hot outside. My brother and I take turns behind the counter so one of us can go get lunch. We don't really have a back room, so the extra boxes are just kept in the corners under some plastic sheets. The floor is grey cement and it's easy to clean, which is good because of all the dust from the road. We get a lot of pilgrims sometimes because of where we are located in Alandi. They usually want water or some simple snacks for their walk. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the inventory, but it keeps us busy. We don’t use a computer for the bills, just a pen and a pad of paper. It works fine and we don’t have to worry about the internet going down. We just try to be here when people need their daily groceries or something quick for their journey.
