Anil Super Market

The shop is in the Bibwewadi area, specifically near the Hadapsar Industrial Estate. It’s a grocery store, but we call it Anil Super Market. We have rows of lentils, rice, soaps, and all the usual things people need for their kitchens. It’s not as big as the malls, but we have the basics covered. Every morning we get fresh milk and bread delivered. I spend a lot of time stocking the shelves and making sure the prices are marked. It’s a family-run kind of place. You’ll usually see me or my brother behind the counter. We know most of the people who live nearby. They stop in for a packet of biscuits or some cooking oil on their way home from work. The floor gets a bit dirty when it rains, and we are constantly rearranging things to make more room. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of variety into a small space. We don't do home delivery with an app or anything like that. People just walk in, grab what they need, and we chat for a minute while they pay. It’s been our daily routine for a long time. The industrial estate nearby means we get a lot of workers coming in for snacks during their breaks. It’s a busy little corner of the world.
