Andhra Biryani Parcel Point

We are over in Viman Nagar 4. Our place is called Andhra Biryani Parcel Point, and like the name says, we mostly do parcels. There isn't really space to sit down inside, maybe just enough for someone to wait while we pack their food. We do biryani in the Andhra style, which means we don't hold back on the spice. We use a lot of those small green chilies that give it a sharp heat. Viman Nagar has a lot of office buildings and apartments, so we stay pretty busy with people picking up lunch or dinner on their way somewhere. The kitchen is small and very hot, especially around noon. We keep the rice in these big metal containers to keep the heat in. Every parcel comes with a little container of raita and some gravy. We don't have any fancy menus or brochures. There is just a board on the wall with the prices written on it. We buy our spices from the same people we've used for years to keep the taste the same. It’s a fast business. We don't have time for much else but cooking and packing. The walls are just plain, and we have a small counter where we take the cash. We aren't trying to be a big restaurant. We just want to get the food out to people while it’s still hot and fresh. It’s just a small shop doing its best to keep up with the daily orders.
