Anant Time

Anant Time is located in the M I D C area right on the Mumbai Pune Road in Chinchwad. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of heavy traffic and the sound of machinery nearby. The shop is a simple place where I deal with watches and clocks. It is not a polished showroom with glass walls and bright lights. It is more of a workshop feel with tools spread out on the bench and old clock parts in little tins. I have been in this spot for a long time now. The Mumbai Pune Road is always changing, but my little corner in Chinchwad stays pretty much the same. It gets quite dusty because of the big trucks going past the door all day long. I usually keep the front door open to let some air in, even if it is a bit noisy. People from the nearby factories often stop by when they have a break. They aren't looking for anything fancy, just a quick fix or a reliable watch. The building itself is an older one and the paint is peeling a bit near the ceiling, but I don't mind. I have my routine here and it works for me. It is just a straightforward place for anyone who needs their timepieces looked at without any of the extra marketing talk you get elsewhere.
