Anandi Interiors

Our office is at S1/2A/1 A, in the Anandi building. We are right on the New Mumbai-Banglore Road in Bavdhan. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so we hear the big trucks and buses going past all day long. Bavdhan has changed a lot lately, with new buildings coming up everywhere, but we are still here in our usual spot. The office is easy to find if you are driving along the highway, though sometimes people miss the turn because the traffic moves so fast. It’s a functional space. We have our desks set up and some samples of materials lying around. There’s a bit of a breeze that comes through the windows when the weather is nice, though mostly we just keep them shut because of the road noise. Working so close to a major highway gives the place a certain kind of energy. You feel like the whole world is moving past you. We usually get in early before the traffic gets really bad. The parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes if there are too many visitors in the building. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a regular office where we spend our hours planning and talking. We’ve grown fond of this little corner of Bavdhan. It feels like home now, even with all the noise from the Mumbai-Banglore bypass right outside our door. It is just a practical place for us to be based for our daily work.
