Anand Watch

You can find us on the ground floor at Udhyog House, right there on the road that goes from Hazira to Surat. It’s a busy stretch of Sangavi, so there is always the sound of trucks and cars passing by. We keep the door open most of the time to get a bit of a breeze, even though it brings in some dust. The shop is small, just enough space for a couple of glass counters and the work area in the back. We spend our days looking at watches that have stopped ticking. It is tedious work sometimes, dealing with parts so small you can barely see them without a lens. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a watch movement. If you come by Anand Watch, you’ll likely see one of us leaning over a bench with a pair of tweezers. We get all sorts of people coming in from the industrial area nearby. They bring in watches that have seen a lot of wear and tear. We try to get them back in working order. The walls are lined with a few clocks that chime at different times, which can be a bit confusing if you aren’t used to it. We don't really do much advertising. People just know we are here at Udhyog House. It’s a basic setup, nothing too modern, but it works for the kind of repairs we handle daily.
