Anand Krupa General Store & Ladies Corner

Anand Krupa General Store & Ladies Corner is situated in the Krushna Garden area of Kalewadi. We have a bit of a unique setup because we sell general grocery items but also have a section specifically for ladies' things. You can find everything from kitchen supplies like detergent and snacks to bangles, clips, and other small accessories. It makes the shop a bit of a gathering place for the women in the neighborhood who need to pick up a few things for the house and maybe something for themselves as well. We have been in Kalewadi for a while now and we know the area pretty well. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a simple place with a lot of variety packed into the shelves. We spend our days chatting with neighbors and helping people find what they are looking for. It gets a bit noisy in the afternoons when the kids are out, but we like the energy of the place. We do all the work ourselves, from ordering the stock to cleaning the floors at night. We don't have any big slogans or mission statements. We just try to keep the shop stocked with useful items and stay open at times when people actually need us. Running a combined general store and ladies' corner means there is always something different to do, which keeps the days from getting boring. We are happy to be part of the community here at Krushna Garden and we have got a lot of regulars now.
