Ambika General Stores

You can find Ambika General Stores right near the Shivaji Nagar Railway Station in Pune. We are located at Plot No 11, which is a very busy spot because of all the commuters. People are always in a rush here, so we try to keep the most popular items right near the front counter. We sell things like pens, notebooks, batteries, and of course, all the usual grocery items like oil and flour. The shop is quite old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We have been here for a long time and have seen the area around the railway station change quite a bit. It’s a lot of noise with the trains and the buses, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s just a shutter and some display racks. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze of boxes and bags. We try to keep things organized but sometimes a shipment of snacks arrives and takes up all the floor space. Most of our customers are just looking for a quick purchase on their way to work or home. We stay open pretty late to catch the last crowd coming off the trains. It’s hard work and there is a lot of standing around, but we are glad to be here at Plot No 11 serving the local people.
