Amar Farsan Provision Stores

We run Amar Farsan Provision Stores over in Pimpri. It is one of those shops where you can find a bit of everything if you look hard enough. Pimpri is always moving and there’s a lot of noise from the markets around us. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things all the way to the ceiling sometimes. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside. We sell snacks and daily items that people need for their kitchens. I’ve spent most of my life behind this counter, watching the street change. We don't have any fancy computer systems for everything; we still do a lot of things the old way with a pen and a notebook. Sometimes we forget where we put a specific box of snacks and have to move ten other things to find it. It’s just part of the job. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. We are just a local provision store where you can come and get what you need without much fuss. The lights in the back are a bit dim and the floor is worn down from all the feet walking on it over the years. We open early and close late because that is when people need us. It's a living, and it keeps us connected to the neighborhood here. Our main hope is that the snacks are fresh and the people are happy when they leave with their brown paper bags.
