Alpha Computers & Services is based in Kothrud, right on Karve Road. We are in the 1 Sapna building, which is actually situated right above Hotel Yogi. If you are looking for us, we are directly opposite the Mrutyunjayeshwar Mandir. It’s a very recognizable landmark in this part of Pune. Being above a hotel means there is always something happening downstairs, and the smell of food sometimes drifts up. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our work benches and shelves full of parts and tools. Since we are on Karve Road, the traffic outside is almost constant, but inside we just focus on the work at hand. We have been here for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The temple across the road is a nice view when we take a break. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just open the doors and help whoever comes up the stairs. It is a very local way of doing things. The space is a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of equipment around, but it is our workspace and it feels right. Kothrud is a good place to be for a business like ours. Sometimes we get a bit of noise from the temple bells, but it’s just part of being in this spot.
